05/09/2006 - Fixation wins round 2 of the TAFE band comp |
|
Round 2 of the band comp saw FIXATION go home with the first place prize of $500. The night had 5 acts competing in 20 minute sets to win 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prize money & also a spot in the TAFE- student Associations band comp semi finals for 1st & 2nd place. The semi finals will be held in Woolongong on Thursday, September 21st. See shows page for details.

15/08/2006 - Fixation wins round 1 of the TAFE band comp |
|
Fixation competed against 5 other bands in the TAFE band comp held at Collingwood Hotel, Liverpool last night. Fixation won first place which was prize money of $500.
Next round is held on September 4th at the same place- see shows page for details. The same prize money is up for grabs, so all the support is needed! This money will go towards recording our EP which is aimed at being done late September/October.

19/06/2006 - Charity show raises over $400 for 'GOLD WEEK' |

A HUGE thankyou to everyone for their support last Wednesday, June 14th at
the charity show which raised over $400 for the Sydney Childrens Hospitals-
'GOLD WEEK'. Thanks a lot to Ron for organising the night and all of you
that made the effort to show your support. There are 2 acoustic 'Fix Chix'
shows this week and another show booked in for July, see shows page for
details.

24/05/2006 - Fixation wins Rockhum |
|
Fixation came first in the Castle Hill RSL band comp- 'Rockhum'. A huge
thanks to everyone for turning up on the night and helping us win. The prize
is recording time at Noisegate studios and we will keep you updated on how
that's going. Our next show is this Satrday, May 27th. SOMA have had to pull out at the
last minute due to their drummer breaking his wrist. This is now a 3 band
bill so we hope you can all make it. See shows page for details.
