Hey there!
We would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came down to the Excelsior last Saturday for the Fixmas show. It was one of the best shows we've played! Thanks again to Ron, Kate & all Noise crew who have made all these nights so much fun, it will be sad to say goodbye but there's a lot of fun times to look back on!
Our next show is in January, 2009 for Ron's Bday show. Hope to see you all there!

This Saturday, December 6th, we are celebrating X-mas at The Excelsior Hotel! This event is called Fixmas & we'd love to have you all there!
Fixation has been part of a music community called Heavenly Noise now for over 4 years, this will be the last Heaveny Noise show ever after 5 years running... be there to show your support & appreciation for all the hard work that has gone into Heavenly Noise over the years!

Hey there,
Thanks to everyone who rocked up to the show at the frog last w/e. It was an awesome night.
Next up is 'The Noisies' which is held annualy as part of the music community- 'Heavenly Noise'. Fix has been with HN for about 5 years now & this a very important event to us & all of HN bands & crew. This night showcases HN bands & gives awards to bands/performers achievements throughout the year, it's always a massive night so we hope to see you all there!

Fixation have just lined up our first ever Brisbane show. We're playing at Browns Plains Hotel on New Years Eve.. a possible 2nd show being announced soon.. stay tuned.

Fixation have a new drummer, his name is Geoff. We will be launching him on January 19th, 2008' at our headliner show at The Excelsior Hotel, Surry Hills. We'll have new material & Geoff so it will be worth coing down!
Our last show for 2007 is this Saturday, December 1st. We are opening for Donz's 21st Birthday bash show. Tickets are $10 on the door. It would be great to see you there. We have a bass player & drummer filling in for this show so come down to see the mystery guests in action!

Fixation have two more shows in 2007 & we want to make them both biggens. The next show is on Thursday, November 1st for the Emergenza music festival- see 'shows' page for details & the last show for us in 07' is Donz's 21st Birthday show being held on December 1st- see 'shows' page for details. November 1st will be our fareweell show for Donk who has been drumming with us since the beginning for 4 years. We are sad to see him go & we hope you can all make it down on the night to wish him the best. 30/08/2007- Fixation 2nd's 2nd round of the Tafe Band Comp |
Fixation competed against 5 other bands last night for a place in the Tafe Band Comp Final & prize money. Fixation came 2nd gaining them $250 & a spot in the Jim Beam Band Comp finals.

16/08/2007- Fixation Wins Tafe Band Comp |
|
Fixation competed against 4 other bands at The Agincourt Hotel last night for the NSW Tafe Band Comp. Fixation came first place gaining them a spot in Round 2 being held in 2 weeks- Wednesday, August 29th at The Agincourt Hotel, Fixation went home with $500 in prize money. Be there in 2 weeks to cheer Fixation on & help them be as successful as round 1.

A MASSIVE Thank you goes out to anyone who supported either/all of our 3 EP launches this past weekend. They were all an absolute success & that was because of the people who came along to the shows!
A special thanks to the group of people who travelled to all 3 of our shows, we really appreciete your support & a massive thankyou to anyone who bought the EP. We would love any feedback so please feel free to sign the guestbook if so.

12/03/2007- Tour & EP Update |

The EP is coming along smoothly so far with
all drum & bass tracks laid down & 3 guitar tracks completed.
Guitar & vocal parts will be completed by the end of next week
& then straight to the mixing & mastering faze.
The
video clip has been postponed to June so there will be a separate
release date to the EP. This will now have a clip to not only
'Unmasking' but also 'The Burning Silence' plus extra footage.

FIXATION will be taking 2 months off over March & April to record the long awaited EP- 'The Burning Silence'. We are also filming the video clip for 'Unmasking' & organising our EP launch tour. The first EP launch will be in Sydney on May 10th at The Bull 'N' Bush, Baulkham Hills. We will then be going to Melbourne & Brisbane.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the support at the shows so far in 07'. The first 2 shows we have played this year have been really really fun & thanks to all of you who came out to see them!
